When I was very young I loved drawing African animals.  I dreamed one day I would visit there.  In 2004 the dream came true.  I made plans through The Africa Adventure Company in Florida and in June, left Nashville for a two week cross - country camping safari.  After arriving in Johannesburg, South Africa and staying one night, I then flew to Maun, Botswana where I met the group I'd safari with.  Four Australians, three from the UK, our African guide and one assistant. The trip was truly wonderful.

A 90 minute video/DVD I shot and produced won "Best Video/DVD" catagory in the Africa Adventure Company's annual photo/movie competition for 2003/2004.
